Autonomy and electrification each carry powerful benefits for heavy industry — but together, there are compounded advantages

We believe this is a powerful combination for heavy industry and are doing all we can to understand and master implementing these technologies together to help construction and mining companies make the transition. In the same way that SafeAI’s technology is vehicle agnostic by enabling companies to retrofit any make or model of vehicle regardless of age, our goal is to be vehicle energy source agnostic as well.

This project is an important step in that direction by demonstrating that our autonomy stack is EV-compatible. For this project, we successfully retrofitted an 8 yr old 25 ton diesel powered haul truck with our autonomous kit solution and a battery powered electric drive train system.
